The Chhattisgarh Government Hub supports Chhattisgarh residents and their democracy by bringing together information, experts, organizations, policy makers, and the public to facilitate greater engagement in central, state, and local politics and more civil, positive discussions and collaborations on important issues and governance.

Chhattisgarh Government Hub is one of many state government hubs being launched next year by the nonpartisan, nonprofit onAir Networks. Other state hubs will be discoverable in the future at the national India Government Hub.

Chhattisgarh is a landlocked state in Central India. It is the ninth largest state by area, and with a population of roughly 30 million, the seventeenth most populous. It borders seven states – Uttar Pradesh to the north, Madhya Pradesh to the northwest, Maharashtra to the southwest, Jharkhand to the northeast, Odisha to the east, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to the south. Formerly a part of Madhya Pradesh, it was granted statehood on 1 November 2000 with Raipur as the designated state capital.

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University is an institution of higher education located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. It is one of the largest and oldest institutions of higher education in Chhattisgarh. It is a state university founded in 1964 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating university which affiliates about 144 colleges and has 29 University Teaching Departments.

Bhupesh Baghel

Bhupesh Baghel is an Indian politician serving as the 3rd and current Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh since 2018. He was president of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress from 2014 to 2019. He represents the Patan constituency in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly since 2013 and from 2003 to 2008. He had been cabinet minister of Transportation in undivided Madhya Pradesh in Digvijaya Singh government from 1999 to 2003. He was first Minister for Revenue, Public Health Engineering and Relief Work of Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly

The Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha or the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly is the unicameral state legislature of Chhattisgarh state in India.

The seat of the Vidhan Sabha is at Raipur, the capital of the state. The Vidhan Sabha comprises 90 Members of Legislative Assembly, which include 90 members directly elected from single-seat constituency. Its term is 5 years, unless sooner dissolved.

Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest-developing states in India. Its Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) is ₹5.09 lakh crore (US$64 billion) (2023–24 est.), with a per capita GSDP of ₹152,348. A resource-rich state, it has the third largest coal reserves in the country and provides electricity, coal, and steel to the rest of the nation. It also has the third largest forest cover in the country after Madhya Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh with over 40% of the state covered by forests.
